uBlock Origin Settings ​

To open the uBlock settings, click on the extension's icon in the toolbar and the cogwheel icon at the bottom right of the window.

Settings ​

  • Hide placeholders of blocked elements: On
  • Show the number of blocked requests on the icon: On
  • Make use of context menu where appropriate: On

Privacy ​

  • Disable pre-fetching: On
  • Disable hyperlink auditing: On
  • Block CSP reports: On
  • Uncloak canonical names: On (Available only on Firefox)

Filter lists ​

  • Auto-update filter lists: On
  • Suspend network activity until all filter lists are loaded: On
  • Parse and enforce cosmetic filters: On

  • Built in -> uBlock Filters -> Enable all
  • Ads -> Enable EasyList & Adguard - Ads
  • Privacy -> Enable all
  • Malware domains -> Enable all
  • Multi-purpose -> Enable all
  • Cookie notices -> EasyList/uBo - Cookie Notices -> Enable all
  • Social widgets -> Enable EasyList – Social Widgets & Fanboy – Anti-Facebook (According to personal preference)
  • Annoyances -> Enable EasyList – Annoyances & uBlock filters – Annoyances
  • Regions, languages -> Enable according to your own preference
